Now Hazel is alone, until she finds him while searching for food. Matthew, curly haired, redheaded, and a pain for Hazel. But he leads her to a group of survivors, who present a nice face but have plenty of things to hide. And after they whisk Hazel into the midst of their troubles, she gets pulled into even deeper secrets that should never have been created in the first place.
Hazel isn't scared by much, but what she finds out among them will terrify her deeper than she could ever have thought.
