this book is about a guy who is a psycho(Joseph) that's going around killing people. And he ends up targeting Madison. they have so many close calls when he almost gets to her. She starts to fall for him. Joseph doesn't know and he notices that every time he is with her he gets back his sanity. He stops trying to kill her and tries to get her to be with him. He ends up needing her or he goes crazy.

Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work. That's what this is, a mess that shouldn't work. But it does. And everything goes to shit because of it. A story about love, assassination, family and healing from trauma.Complete
