"Will you stay with me?" He asks as if he's unsure. I look him in the eyes and kiss his hand. "Always." I whisper. Book 1 Peeta loved her first and she loved him second, or was it all just a ploy to survive? They were thrown into the games together, but only one could come out. . or so they said. Book 2 Katniss and Peeta have managed to survive the hunger games. But what the Capitol will throw at them next will require more then just wits and cunning. My own Mockingjay post book Katniss has been slowly losing herself. Along with a lot of people after the war. She isolates herself and neglects everyone and everything. Except for Buttercup and Sae. When her emotions get the best if her and she nearly ends it all, she comes out of her shell. She tries to heal and live again. She does more after Peeta comes home and plants the primroses for Prim.
