Moving to Scotland was meant to mean a new, more peaceful start to Waterloo Road. Quite the opposite, since their re-location the school has faced nothing but new problems. Their problems start when Christine's big secret she has been trying to keep to herself is figured out by Sian and Audrey - it doesn't take long for all hell to break loose. Meanwhile, troubled new student Emily Waller is a cause for concern with many of the teachers, especially Tom - who is concerned about this girl's abnormal behaviour. Emily's not all Tom is dealing with - his ever-increasing attraction to one fellow member of staff is also causing quite a scandal with some. For this school, there really never is a dull moment.
