School was finally out for the summer and I was wracking my brain trying to figure out what adventure my parents would take us on this year, hell going down the street is an adventure as long as I didn't have to spend the entire summer in the house. I'm certain my dad is gonna make this a summer of sheer hell, trying to make me play football and some other sport knowing fully well that im supposed to be on the sideline doing cheers with the rest of the girls but it's whatever, but this summer is the year that things will take a horrible turn for the worst, my life will hang in the balance, there will be unanswered questions, turmoil and a sexual experience that im much to young to have with a man that's 11 years older than I am. You see at 12 years old I was raped by my neighbor, I was being groomed for the encounter and didn't even know it until it was to late. They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak.
