What if everything in your life was simulated? It was just you and nothing ever existed. You created everything. The 50 states, the languages, religions, math, science, books, movies, everything. And when you die you actually wake up and begin your life. Arissa Peyton realizes this. She thinks about it and it starts a chain reaction of events and there are people trying to kill her. This "Awakening" is supposed to be a secret. Only Angels, Shadows, Demons, and Shape Shifters know about it - not mortals.
Everyone is focused on finding and killing/saving Arissa.
A Zombie apocalypse occurs as well as the mythical creatures we come to love (and hate), come into Mortal Life and share their existence with the mortals.
