Read me a Fairy Tale

I, Rose Hauntange, woke up from a twelve-year coma on my eighteenth birthday. No one can tell me what put me there or why I woke up, but as I’m regaining my memories I’m starting to piece it together. But the world I knew at six is very different from the world now. Everyone has changed and I can't help but feel that there is a secret that is being kept from me. But what makes me the most nervous is that I woke up. I have a suspicion that wasn't supposed to happen.
