When I awoke it was in gasps. Painful yet ever so beautiful. The smell of Clorox was overpowering along with how white the walls seemed to be. A subtle beeping sound to my right along with the small thin green line jumping at every beep. My left hand feels heavy almost so heavy I can't lift it. As I put my hand to face I expect to see a shiny ring with a small diamond, but nothing's there... Then I scream.

What is happening!? My life couldn't have been a dream it was so real! I had kids and a husband! Tears burn my eyes. I had a home. It can't just be a dream. I reach up to wipe the tears from my face when I see it. My ring. My infinity-shaped ring with a sapphire diamond. I let out a gasp. It wasn't a dream. But I'm sitting back in class. What. The. Heck.
