Chance Encounters

Hayden was not your normal girl. Not only did she have a deeply troubled school life and little friends, she was also a wolf living with her family, who doubled as her pack. All Hayden has ever known is pain and loss. So when new kid to join the pack, Brady, suddenly makes it his mission to insert himself in her family, she becomes suspicious and hesitant to trust him. He manages to bring up old memories that Hayden herself had once forgotten. This throws her off balance, and she doesn't approve. Brady is a new comer from an old town in Illinois. He refuses to enlighten Hayden as to why he moved to Colorado so suddenly and abruptly. He mentions no word about his pack, or lack there of. Little do they know, Brady has a dark past, one in which he is intent on keeping out of the light. He is wary of Hayden, the girl who doesn't share much, but is always posing questions. Brady can run, but even he is helpless against the storm coming for him. Brady yearns to break into Hayden's hard shell, whereas she plots to unravel the details of Brady's mysterious appearance. As they begin to trust one another and grow close, they only push the other further into danger unimaginable by both. Always remember, anyone can fake a sweet, innocent exterior. The ones you must be on your guard for are those who secretly plot revenge. These people are especially lethal when they are hell bent on getting what they desire, even if it means they have to eliminate anyone that stands in their way, to become satisfied.
