Angel's Blood

Cassia is 17 years old with golden hair and purple eyes. She had just started to notice weird things about her. She's always had perfect eyesight, had always been in perfect health, barely felt normal pain, and it seemed that she could heal herself just by willing it to happen. One day she noticed that a man, who seemed to have a glow around him, was following her. Freaked out, she began running towards her house, but when she looked back, the man was gone. A few days later, the strange glowing man appeared at her house. He seemed distressed. He quickly explained to her that she is a Nephilim, one who is half angel and half human. His name was Cassiel, and he claimed to be her father. He claimed that he had been keeping an eye on her since she was little, but recently was caught by the higher powers. Nephilim were not allowed to exist. Bad people, or angels, were after her. She didn't know what to do or how to feel, so she ran away. She searched and found a cheap motel in the middle of nowhere, and she rented a room for the night. She sobbed until she finally cried herself to sleep. The next morning, she just wanted the emotional pain to end.
