Aneela is abused all her life, when she turns 16 she drops out of school and leaves home. She starts living on the street, in hotels, and then she moves in with two boys about her age who she feels are the only people she could trust, after they all get fired Aneela starts to sing on the street to help pay taxes till she is found by Kelly. After 4 years she has to go back to her home town and face them all, the bullies and her so called "friends and family" who are begging her to forgive them.
