This fanfic takes place in the 1920s.

After their house burns down, killing their parents, Mabel and Dipper are taken care of by their Grandfather, Stanford and their great uncle, Stanley. The two brothers don't always see eye to eye and they live on the opposite sides of the country from each other, Stanley in New York and Stanford in Gravity Falls. They decide the only way to help each other out, is to split the twins up. Dipper with Stanley and Mabel with Stanford. 

This fanfic was inspired by tybay's artwork on deviantart! (Look at cover) I don't know how her story goes, but this is the idea she gave me when I looked through her art! You can go and see it for yourself!

He's still an interdimensional wanted criminal. -Stan is the same as we know him in the show, just never faked his death, and helped Ford with his portal thing. -Mabel and Dipper were the first to go to Gravity Falls and after the experience of the traumatic things it had to offer, they begged their older siblings to go with them for the next summer. Which they agreed to and now they are all traumatized, But they'll be even more traumatized after this fic :D

Its starts to effect Mabel who is once again trying to find a boyfriend. However, she soon learns, Dipper was being overprotective of her for a reason. A 20 part story.
