“You need this, Zania.” He whispered in my ear, passing a knife to me. I took hold of the cold metal in my hands, the familiar feel and emotions equipped to this weapon flowing back into me. It comforted me, in a way. “Do it, Zania.”
“I can’t. I stopped this. I don’t need to do it anymore.” I explained quickly, trying to forget the feeling of sliding the blade across my wrist, or my stomach. Anywhere I could reach, I cut. I tried to place the knife onto the basin before me, but Eric held it back.
“Don’t you remember yesterday? I had to save you. You aren’t strong enough yet.” He argued, running his cold, calloused hand down my arms, sending Goosebumps flaring up over my body. I looked into Eric’s eyes in the mirror, him staring back. “I’ll make the first cut.”

You may think that everyone is Amity is just the happiest people in the world, right? Well, you're wrong. Not everyone at least. What about a certain Dauntless leader that seems to like her? "Training is over for today, everyone out!" Eric roars and as I'm about to walk through the door, I hear his cold voice yet again, "Not you Via, you stay," The others flood out and I stay planted near the door, he slowly stalks towards me and I find myself walking backward until I've hit the door behind me, I slightly jump from shock and let out yet another shaky sigh, he puts both of his arms beside my head, easily towering over me. "I'm going to break you," he starts, speaking darkly as he looks directly into my eyes, "I'm not sure how, but I will, and I'm going too," "You can't break something that's already been broken by someone else," I whisper, barely audible but I know he hears it. "Who could have possibly broken you? You lived in Amity, Baby doll," he snarls, and I push him out of the way with my shoulder. I walked out of there. (As of 3/28/2019) #1 in Divergent-12.7 stories. {BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? A/N : First chapter is a little sketchy but that is the case with all of my books. I promise it does get a lot better afterwards Start: Feb 06 2021 End: Dec 15 2021

"Get out," I said in a firm voice, but it shook a bit at the end. The muscles in his jaw tensed when I said that. Instead of getting out, he closed the door and started taking calculative predatory steps toward me. His eyes moved all over my length. My heart started to drum fast. It made me take a step back until my back was flat against the wall. "I said get out," I repeated, trying to sound firm when he was only a step away from me. He stood in front of me with his hands in his pants pocket. "Last time I checked, I still own this place," he said arrogantly in his deep voice, which made me want to sink into the wall. He stood in front of me. "But it's my workplace," I breathed out when he cut an inch of distance between us. His body was not touching me, but my body still twitched as if his calloused hands were moving all over me. I lowered my eyes and took a deep breath to calm myself, but my heartbeat raised when I heard steps coming towards us. "Someone is coming. Go from here," I found myself pleading. The steps became louder as if the person were just a few steps away from opening the door. I don't want rumours to be spread here. An evil smile formed on the corner of his lips looking at the distress on my face. "I'm not afraid to be seen with my wife," he said in his deep, low voice, sending shivers down my spine. My eyes snapped towards him in anger. I know he was doing this on purpose because no one here knows we are married. Why is he breaking the deal?

[18+ only] "Eric, Did you sleep with her ?" I knew his answer nonetheless I waited for his reply. I knew it would break me and shatter me into pieces but I prayed to hear a negative answer when I very well knew what I was expecting was next to impossible. "YES" He replied nonchalantly. His hair looked messy from how many times she would have raked her fingers through it. His naked tattooed back had visible red marks of her nails which only broke my heart into million peices. ********************** He was the wildest dream, She was a dreamer. He was the bright sunshine, She was even darker than a shadow on new moon night. He was hot tornado, she was cool sea breeze. He was the dew on new morning leaves, She was a wilting flower.
