Clara is just an ordinary farm girl. Except that she can talk to animals with her magic, which nobody can know about since if they do she'll be executed. But everything as she knows it is turned upside down when she finds out that not only is her entire life a sham but that she has another, unknown family out there. Then she gets kidnapped.
