Alan Bennett's 'The History Boys' is one of the best plays that is set in the 1980's about Coming of Age. However what many people do not know is that it is based on a true story but not based in Yorkshire but in Nottingham. I am to say that I was one of the boys in Mr Turners (Hector) class.

Front Line
Being on the front line doesn't always mean facing the obvious, being on the front line can be as simple as facing life head-on with no clue where you're going. Life is as much of a front line in the wider perspective than the narrower of that of a battle, where the enemy is known and destination is everywhere but backwards. Therefore in life everyone has a story, this is no different. This story tells the story of Julianna Monroe (Name changed to hide/protect myself), and how even the simple things in life can alter the future in the most minute of ways. Not everything in life has to be all song and dance for it to be interesting and diverse, the story of Julianna's life will show and connect to those with lives just the same as hers who are not able to speak about their experiences. Her story begins when she is around 3-4 years old, just about to start the very first away-from-home experience children in the United Kingdom are encouraged to do. Nursery. Here kids just like Julianna are given the freedom and chance to explore outside of the home environment, without the feeling of an academic learning facility. Julianna is a child rather used to home comforts, so even at the beginning on the long road to get to where she is today, there are struggles and many points in at which she feels lost. However, despite all the minor stumbles on the bottom rung of this ladder, this is the start of an adventure, a journey to test everything Julianna is made of. Her story starts now...Complete

Breaking Away-CountryHumans United Kingdom
UK has been going through some tough times with Brexit and parliament and his kingdoms are becoming reckless and want to break free. No one knows about UK's condition apart from France so how will he be able to tell his sons that he will be gone soon and replaced? Will UK's problems bring back old enemies? I guess you'll have to read the book and find out... !Includes!: •Swearing •Fighting •Countryhumans (some shipping involved) •Biased opinions on history I wrote this book at a young, impressionable and stupid age. This has meant not all of this story is historically accurate, as above, some of the historically accurate parts may be biased to a certain opinion(e.g. when talking about past events a country will see it as bad or good, who was on the 'good side' and 'bad side' etc.) This story is fictional and not meant to offend anyone in anyway. Sorry if HC's seem to change in the book and the characters personality is everywhere, I don't quite have my own HC's on countries yet and am influenced on others HC's. (This is my first ever Wattpad story! So I'm very nervous and sorry if I make mistakes. I was inspired to write this story by mention of it and am not trying to copy anyone but please let me know if there are any problems, thank you!) !! If you're a reader/seeing this on another site that is not Wattpad, then my book most likely got copied and pasted onto an unsafe fanfiction app page. !! (Front cover was made by me. I used a reference photo but I couldn't find the original owner, sorry.)Complete
Just Silly Kids (Larry Stylinson)
On a boarding school crazy things can happen. Disputes are bound to happen with teenagers being together constantly. Add hate, love, competitions and silly kids into the mix and you have a disaster. But not everything on the PCA is bad. Actually, for the most of them the time at the boarding school is the most amazing time of their lives. And maybe... some people... find their soulmates there... maybe... just maybe (definetely). (This is based on Zoey 101, but the main characters will be our 1D boys:)) #2 in avrillavinge (8. [OLD] Escaping the Friendzone (Various! Hetalia x Reader)
(School AU) (Y/n) (L/n) is a very smart young lady. She always gets good marks on her quizzes and tests. She's nice to everyone and tries to stay positive around her peers/friends/family. However, behind closed doors she tends to break down. She has an older sister with mental health issues and an older brother whom she used to confide in but he moved away and barely visited and talked to his family. This only made the girl's life worse. Her childhood friend and neighbor, Gilbert stopped talking to her as much when he started middle school, but she still hung out with Ludwig. Her mother was always stressed between being a single mom and dealing with her sister. So the girl used her studies and books as an escape method from the real world. Of course she had some friends, but not many really GOOD friends. NOTE: The reader has Situational Depression DISCLAIMER: I do not own Hetalia, the characters, art, or the au. I only own the plot and whatnot. And another issue is that there are a LOT of countries so I can't really do all of them, so the only characters falling for you will be: Francis Bonnefoy (France) Alfred F. Jones (America) Matthew Williams (Canada) Arthur Kirkland (England) Ludwig Beilschmidt (Germany) Gilbert Belischmidt (Prussia) Feliciano Vargas (Italy) Lovino Vargas (Romano) Antonio Fernandez Carriedo (Spain) Ivan Braginski (Russia) I suck at writing a fanfic with more than 10 characters involved unless I REALLY know ALL of the characters. Also I'm sorry I took out Japan and China. Before I started editing they got like zero attention and I felt bad Q_Q I hope you enjoy the story nonetheless and I thank you for taking your time reading this stupidly long description EDIT: If you want to see more interactions with a certain character (doesn't have to be ones you fall for) just let me know!Complete

That same young teenager, later on, returns to England to permanently live there. But also, he returns to his earlier discovery and becomes unsure of how to deal with it so many years later. That discovery is young Ella Kent, a small town girl with big hopes and ambitions, that spend the last years of her life hoping that the blue eyed boy Josh Harrison would come back to her. The big question here is...are they going to make it? Can they overcome their past? "If you want to walk away, go ahead and do it, but it's going to be on you, Josh. I'm trying to work on this, I'm trying to fix things but you're too set on your own ideas to realize what you're doing right now. If you walk out on me now, I swear to you that I will not put myself through this again." Read through to find out the fate of these two kids, and to have a wild ride through their lives, dramas, and most of all love. ****NOTE**** Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh as used as visual references ONLY.
