Jessica Parker has been living in London for her entire life. She's a popular, pretty girl that's enjoying her life as it is. Until a sudden turn happens when her dad gets a job promotion - which meant moving. At first, she expected somewhere else in England. It turns out that the job was all the way down in Sydney. Jessica tries her best to stay in England, but because she was only 15, she wasn't able to do so.

When she moves to her new school, her life contrasted to what she had in London. When she's in detention one Friday afternoon, she meets this boy named Luke. She never thought much about him until they're paired for a science project. Who knew a science project could change so much between two detention sitters?
