Aberdeen has been born from a test tube, made to look disturbingly beautiful just like all the other Perfects at Mrs.coldhearts home for perfect children, but she didn't turn out like the rest, still prettier than an average human, but a disastrous mistake by Perfect standards. No one wants to adopt her. She is an invert, unsocial and excluded from the other Perfects who hate her very existence. And then Rylie shows up, he's a Natural, human born with Perfect qualities, making him the envy of all Perfects, painting a target on his back also.

"We should leave" Rylie muses, lifting a mischievous eyebrow.

My mouth swings open in shock and the words sputter out of my mouth like I'm a dying voltswagon. "We cant leave! Are you crazy! they will catch us."

He furrows his eyebrows in thought and then rolls over on his side so that he is facing me as I sit on his desk chair. " Has she said you can't?"

Now its my turn to think. " No," I start slowly, cautiously. " No one has ever asked."

"Exactly, she is hiding something Aberdeen, don't you think it is odd that a whole mansion full of teenagers hasn't rioted, there are many things here that don't add up."
