Since they can remember Ashley, Jake, and Leo have lived in an orphanage. They've always tried to get away, but were always brought back. When they get a letter from their Uncle Buddy and his so-called friend telling them to make their great escape the three gifted siblings find themselves running away, agian, with no where to go and for a reason they can't speak of. On their way they run into a number of obstacles, and find themselves using their hidden talents more than ever.

There family is very rich, they live in a huge house, and are considered popular with a decent amount of friends and so forth. But what happens when Summer break comes along. When an unexpected event happens, they can't stay in New York for the summer anymore and their parents force them to be split apart and live with their aunts and uncles they didn't know existed. Ashlee is forced to go live with her aunt and uncle in Idaho. At first, she is angry, but after a while, she gets used to them. She goes to have one of the most memorable vacations in her life.
