Ronnie Boyce wants what every girl plans on having at some point in their lives--unconditional love. She watched her brother, Lain, fall in love and knows she wants to have something worthwhile in her life. She doesn't want to admit how she feels about Andrew Garfield--a gorgeous friend of Lain with deep brown eyes--in order to avoid getting hurt again. The pair will experience many hardships as their relationship progresses, but there is one recurring obstacle: Andrew is a marine.
