Katerina lives in a world where she has little choice, yes you guessed it she's a princess and being a princess comes with responsibilities like an arranged marriage to the Prince of Dancourt. With the safety of her country riding on this working it's no wonder that she gets nervous when she's around him. He proves to be a nice guy and Katerina feels better and better about the arranged marriage. Little does she know that soon she will be captured by a notorious sailor named Beck Donavan who will take her away from her new relationship for ransom. But when you're on a ship and you don't know anybody or where you are things tend to happen. Like a growing interest in the ship's captain. Emotions stur in this tangle of a tale of a girl taken from the land to the sea.
