In the snows of Hoth, a fighter pilot, the crew of a medical shuttle, and a former Imperial prisoner are just trying to survive to fight another day. This Star Wars fanfic, co-written with @MarthaAllard and Brian Thomas, was originally published in Tales of the New Republic. This is one of the stories that inspired my new "In the Shadow of the Templar" trilogy, which just came out from Night Shade Books. All three books -- The Dangerous Type, Kill By Numbers, and No More Heroes -- are out now.
