The pristine and beautiful, Sibyl Ernshaw has been living a dull but well conserved life. She longed to be free and to discover the outside world though she has all the finer things in life for being an Ernshaw. As she decided to run away from home, Sibyl, without knowing, entered the south part of Abteiisha Town, Leidenschaft; the birthplace of sin. In that hated place, Sibyl is enchanted by the stunning burlesque house owned by a mysterious man...or maybe a ghost.

"The whole facade is stunning! The secrecy! The masculinity! The tenderness! The power! The pain! The love! The desire! I just had a feel of shock and intense." - Anne Rice

"Seducting. A requiem of tortured love and curse." - Stephanie Meyer
