My name is Ruby and I am 16 years old. when I was 12 me,my mom, and dad got into a car accident and had to be sent to the hospital. I was only suppose to be there to get my broken leg fixed but then when they took some of my blood they found something. the doctor took some tests and came back with the results. that day I found out that I had stage two leukemia
ever since that day I've been fighting for my life as hard as I could but I was getting weak and wanted to just give up and die. but then my doctor sent me,my mom,and dad to Pennsylvania to get treated by a doctor that could help more with the cancer.
there I met someone. his name is Aaron Rodgers and he is handsome and sweet. he doesn't treat me like I'm a porcelain doll that could break at any second he treats me like a human who doesn't have cancer.
he doesn't care that I have cancer and I don't care that he is blind. now I have a reason to live but the problem is..... Will I even make it to live the life I want to live?

That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap.
