Silhouette is a collection of poems about love, life and death that depict life on a large canvas with all the colors of life, be it dark or light.

The Tribute-
This first poem is inspired by the movie Pompeii (2014) which made me explore more about the catastrophic volcanic eruption in Pompeii in AD 79 and the recent discovery of bones of a man and a woman embracing by an archeologist. Years after their death their love still persists and inspires the world so this is my tribute to Pliny the younger the only witness of the disaster who lived to tell the tale.Alle Rechte vorbehalten

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. All of our experiences help us grow along the years. Life never stops, our minds either. Its chaos, and this book treats it as so. There is no specific order to life's events. So, with whatever hand we are dealt, we march on. We learn about ourselves, how we love, how our minds work. We doubt everything. We question our existence in this piece of dirt. We seek purpose in everything we do. Only to find out that maybe life takes the shape we give it. I hope these words take the shape of anything you need.
