I haven't had a boyfriend in almost a year. Reason being I got hurt by the one I loved, the one who I had hoped to share a future with, the one who broke my heart. I was scared of ever falling in love again, would get upset with every guy who looked my way as I feared the worst and I also knew that most of them weren't looking for the type of relationship that I want so I would reject them all. My heart felt cold, I felt heartless and I didn't care about loving another anymore. That soon came to an end though and the only regret I had about that was letting my wall down for another 'potential heartbreaker'.

I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. Until I was introduced to an entirely new world or worlds that I wish I wasnt apart of but now its impossible to avoid.

He was my exact opposite but hey opposites attract right? You know how some people believe in soul mates? Well in my world everyone knows they are real. When you turn 18 you can hear your soul mate a.k.a tap into their thoughts. And even if you've known your soul mate your entire life you won't know until the first time you see them either on or after your 18th birthday and it is like love at first sight. But you will be attracted to them because they are meant for you so of course you will find them attractive. But imagine my surprise when the person made for me was my polar opposite.

It all started when he accepted my friend request on Facebook. I couldn't believe that he actually accepted my friend request. I was so happy. I don't know why I was so attracted to him... I overcome my shyness and I know things about guys that I didn't know before. I changed. But, there was a side of me, that I thought I would never have. The side of me that I don't want anyone to know, my dark side. Above all that, he was bad. He was bad to me, and I didn't even realized it. I was blinded by love, one sided love.
