I was a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer during middle school, but lost interest halfway through the show after several of my favorite characters left.  This is my version of Buffy's story starting after season one and the summer ends.  

Buffy and the Black Lantern Brotherhood starts at the beginning of Xander, Willow and Buffy's junior year of high school - with a few variations from the beginning of season 2.    Xander and Cordelia are secretly dating.  Buffy met Faith in the beginning of summer, whom is currently MIA (when is she not?), and Angel hasn't lost his soul yet.  A band of men are plotting to kill teenage girls from at least two schools, and have killed 2 so far -- or so as far the Scooby Gang knows.  Giles has had a lovely summer with someone he finds very special, and Buffy has just returned from her Dad's in San Diego.  Both Buffy and Giles return on their first day of school, with news of these horrible murders.  
   
Soon you will meet a new member of the Scooby Gang who is nothing less than a cultured, energetic globe-trotter who's lived in Turkey, Egypt, and Japan! But there's more to her, than meets the eye -- furthermore, what is she doing at Sunnydale High?All Rights Reserved
