His face drew near as the beat of my heart pounded against my chest. Hot breath fanning my lips as they slowly crept closer to mine. At the moment my eyes fluttered close a howl struck our ears. Adelaide Wayder lived a simple life. School, work, friends. That was her schedule when a light blue-eyed beauty interrupted her life and secrets fell out in front of her. Most importantly, she finds out that mark on her body is not just a birthmark, but a status within a world unknown. *Author note* Sequel on hold, tentatively for permanent, but this book can be read as a stand alone. Feedback welcomed but this is a draft story that I started when I was 13.

The caged bird sings with a fearful trill, of things unknown, but longed for still. And her tune is heard on the distant hill, for the caged bird sings for freedom. His lips hovered just above mine, close enough to make my senses blur. All I could think about was feeling his lips on mine again. "You don't feel the mate bond?" he asked, his voice low. "Because it's telling me to tear these clothes off you and take you right here, make you cry out my name so the whole pack knows you're mine." Lucille Hardings had always felt trapped. Living by strict rules as the Alpha's daughter, destined to follow in his footsteps as a leader. And if that wasn't enough, she'd also been chosen as the fated mate of another Alpha. But he didn't approve of her youth and doubted she was fit to be his Luna. That rejection, that pain, made her leave. She ran away from everything she knew, her pack, and went rogue. No one would have ever guessed that the once quiet, uncertain girl would transform into a fierce, powerful rogue. This story combines two books into one: Heart of a Rogue and Heart of a Luna. There will be extensive edits planned for late 2024, so some story details may change. Expect to encounter wolves, intense bonds, and eventually a glimpse into a spirit world as well.
