I could feel the beast me yearning to get out. Wanting so desperately to have her in our arms.
The moment the familiar yet long lost scent had hit me, I knew. I knew it was her.
The scent I would have killed to smell for years was finally found. So close that I could feel the sweetness of it envelop me, calming my beast.
For the first time in years I felt something other than anger and despair; I felt hope. Having her so close to me...
Ignoring all that is around me, I lean back and close my eyes just enjoying the warmth that is spreading through me.
All is lost in my mind except one thing, one person, one beauty, I feel content as one word escapes my lips as a breathless whisper.
