“Victim’s heading out. Over,” I whispered into my cell phone.
“Got her,” Lorenzo whispered back. I could hear him smiling through the phone.
I sat there, waiting for them to make their move. I heard a bloodcurdling scream, and then it came to a sudden stop almost after it suddenly started. I went out, grinning.
Another girl kidnapped. Mission accomplished.
