Eight Guardians are chosen to protect the island of seasons, destined to keep a great darkness locked away. Blessed by the Goddess of Life with the knowledge and power of their ancestors they do so for many years. But with the arrival of strangers, scientists, their lives are thrown into chaos. The darkness is freed, the island is sinking, people dying, and they only have a short amount of time before the world is thrown into destruction.
