Darren Osmans isn't the type of person who'd be blamed for a suicide. But when high school it-girl Audrey Allman commits suicide, he's apparently one of the reasons which leads him to search for 1 of 12 copies of her "suicide list" a list that listed the reasons why she killed herself. Only problem; there's a list of deeds he must do before he can get the treasured list. Her scavenger hunt. A number of pranks, deeds, and places to go that he must do before he has a chance of getting the list.
This is my first book so I am sorry if it isn't good. This book was inspired by the book 'Thirteen reasons why' by Jay Asher so if you see similarities between the two please know I was inspired by this amazing book you should totally read

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. There is this girl called Dakota and she is pretty shy. She is what you call the typical quite girl. Most people say that she is mute because of her lack of speaking but that isn't true. She does speak a lot but only in front her own family members. Dakota has her problems that keeps her from speaking up against the school bully, Kristina. She is so perfect but she ruins it by bulling Dakota. She beats all the emotions out of her whether it be physically or mentally or even both. These things continue to happen and Dakota starts to get desperate and does something that will change the course of her life.
