What does life mean?

As I sit under this large willow tree, I have to ponder on what everyone thinks. What does life truly mean? I mean we all live once, so we try and try again to make our life extraordinary, to stick out from others. But what we should be really be asking our selves is: why do we want to be remembered so badly? We all compete against each other and forget what our lives truly mean. We forget the simple beauty in this life we only live once! We take things for granted all the time without even thinking about it. The only true time we sit down and think about the good things in life, is when we are dying or have something tragic happen to us to remind us how precious this life truly is to us.
