Emily Johnson, grew up in Hawaii. Surfing is her life, she was in the water and learning at the young age of 6. Her mother was a professional surfer, and was her role model. When Emily was only 13 her mother got killed. How? Surfing, doing what she loved. She got hit by a massive wave, one of the biggest Hawaii has ever had during a surfing event. And unfortunately Emily's mother was out in the water during it. 3 years later, Emily is still out riding the waves and becoming one of the best surfers Hawaii has ever had. What happens in the summer of '09? While Emily is practicing for a big surfing competition she gets distracted by a handsome looking guy on the beach, watching her.
