Later during a date with Annabeth Percy disappears Percy wakes up in a strange land far from the help of his friends or the gods, but not his control over water or his ability to talk to horses. It's been two years now, since it happened. Since he lost the most important person to him. Furious with the gods, Percy has separated himself from his life as a demigod, and is now attending a mortal college. He has friends, decent grades, much less frequent monster attacks (thanks, Hades), an adorable baby sister, and even has a girlfriend. But when he meets someone from his past, he realizes there might be a chance of something he's been wishing for for the past two years. That she was still alive.
