The Moore's

After finally coming to peace with the fact that he is going to die, Kaiden Moore finds himself coming face to face with another obstacle: Dorothia Staley. Dorothia is a quiet, smart girl in public, and a wild party girl behind closed doors. At first Kaiden finds his attraction in her body that will make any guy drool as she walks past, and any girl rage with jealousy, but as he learns more about her, he realizes that he envys her strength as she fights a similar battle. Dorothia is apart of the rare group of women who are diagnosed with Hemophilia while Kaiden is apart of the group of people who are diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia.

Once Kaiden introduces Dorothia to his rather large family fairly quickly, everyone takes an interest in her. The story behind the formation of the Moore family will, in Kaiden's opinion, bore you to death. Dorothia contradicts his thoughts, though, finding a rather interesting side behind the family's history.

As Dorothia gets to know the family, she watches the Moore family crumble to pieces as they come to accept the fact that their beloved Kaiden only has a few good years left. The family is slowly coming undone from fights and the death of a particular woman named Nala.

As Dorothia battles to rebuild the broken family, she can't help but lose the battle with her hidden feelings for Kaiden.
