Have you ever been put in a situation in which you can't speak, think or move? Well, I had. And it wasn't in front of anyone, but in front of the school's supposedly bad boy. Hooray me, am I right?
I am one of those outsider girls, who doesn't like to associate with anyone, and, on top of that, a so-called teacher's pet, too. Although that didn't seem to stop the bad boy from taking an interest in me. Funnily enough, he wasn't the person to initiate a conversation by simply approaching me. That was in no way possible, of course. It's a lot more complicated than that... Well, actually it's not that complex...
He saw me naked, that's the reason...

He smirks, "You've finally cracked." I furrow my eyebrows, "You were baiting me? Jerk, just turn off your music!" "Or what?" He asks teasingly. "Or..or I'll tell the front office!" He shrugs, "Go ahead, you're the only one complaining." I glare at him, "Ooh you are so!" He looks at me amusingly, "So what?" "So!" He brings his face closer to mine, "Say what you want to say." His voice was low as he stared into my eyes. I was suddenly mute, completely drawn into those warm brown eyes. I don't know why I did, but I leaned into him. Our lips finally colliding. His arms pull my body closer to his as he kisses me hungrily. - It all started with a stupid dare. 21-year old transfer student Amina Bassey always had a plan. We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again. A boy who, for reasons I'll never comprehend, placed the key inside my palm and didn't shy away when I tried to free his hidden heart from its restraints. A boy who made me the main character of my own story. A story I never want to forget, and which begged to be put on paper. Avery and Josh were complete oppisites. Josh was a little badass. Barely, passable grades, rude additude, tattoos, piercings, and a wall built so hard, not even Miley Cyrus's wrecking ball could tear it down. Avery, or Avy to her friends, was a goody- two shoes. Straight A student, nice to everyone, class president, cheerleading captain, and perfect daughter. Until Josh moved next door... She had come out the shower and her towel was off.
