Unwanted publicity has taken a toll on the well known guitarist, Luke Hemmings. Since he is incapable to have a regular relationship, Luke has yet to have a normal date without the unpleasant feeling of being with a gold digger, or user. And after meeting the beautiful, yet ambivalent, Skylar, Luke hatches a plan to fool the girl into believing he has no connection with fame, in hopes he may find a girl who will truly accept him as a person and not a bank.
However, Luke would be living a lie as he becomes more involved with Skylar, and soon realizes he may like this girl more than he intended to.
