Ripples In The World

In the seemingly forgotten North Pole two Princesses, Yue and Umiko were given life from the Moon and Ocean Spirits themselves. But in a world without the Avatar the Fire Nation reigns supreme and the Water Tribes are in danger. The North Pole is one of the last pieces of untouched resistance the world has held onto, but within its icy walls it holds the secrets to wipe out yet another race of bending and General Zhao of the Fire Nation wants to get his hands on it.

As a duty to their people the Princesses of the North suffer sacrifice and great pain to protect their home and the spirits that gave them life. After an immense battle of juggled winners Umiko has fallen into grave danger as the world turns against her. She must now flee her home to protect it leaving behind her entire life. In her first trip into the world outside the North Pole she discovers so much more than the stories she was told as a child revealed and she needs to learn how to fit in quickly. But when she loves to bend an element that doesn't belong there can she truly keep herself out of trouble?

However she is not the only one running from the past and unknowingly has her destiny tightly entwined with those of an unlikely duo of firebenders. Things always seem hard before they get easy though, that's the way of life. But when conflicts that affect the entire world are placed in laps of those who are unknowing, will they ever be resolved?
