Mature
Bound by an unbreakable curse, Prince Khufu and his beloved Chay-Ara are continuously reborn. The two fall in love in every new life, but are destined to be separated by death, one always out-living the other, their souls lingering until both can be reborn again. Over and over the two fall in love. Over and over one must watch the other die. Over and over cycle continues.
Now, in the present day city of Magnolia, Khufu has been reborn as Gajeel Redfox, an archaeologist-turned-hero who goes by the alias of Hawkman when fighting alongside his fellow comrades. Once more his soul yearns for its other half, the half that now resides in Levy McGarden. When the two finally meet, as they are destined to do, the game of life and death begins again.
A game that the two are determined to win this time.
(Rated M because Gajeel has a foul mouth.)

14 parts Complete

Two worlds. Two people. Countless letters. Gajeel Redfox and Levy McGarden couldn't be more different. She is the daughter of a wealthy samurai clan, and he is an orphan doing whatever work he can just to make a living. Despite that, a great love blossoms between the two of them. One that transpires in the countless letters they write to each other in secret. Will their love survive the vast differences in the worlds they live in? Or, will Gajeel and Levy prove that love is so much more than the family you're born into?
