"Don't give up on me, Kales."
The voice sparks recognition into my ears. How can I hear him? How is this possible? Suddenly an overwhelming feeling of sparks streaks through my hand and I know that he is really there beside me and all I need to do is find my way back to the light.
"They say that you've got a lot worse and that your body is starting to fail." Pips voice speaks, "Please, Kaylee, don't give up. For me?"
Sitting into an upright position, I listen to his welcoming words. I feel an abundance of calm wash over me as he talks.
"If you wake up, I'll tell you all my secrets. Everything."

She has been in hospital for almost all her life, but things begin to change when she meets the adorable yet mysterious Pip. His power? He can read your past. Suddenly questions begin to form in her mind. Who is he? What happened to her parents? What is this place?

That's insane, or so Brinley had once thought. Brinley Zora, your normal everyday 24 year old video game streamer. She was normal, in every possible sense of the word, or at least she used to be before strange dreams and occurrences started happening to her on a regular basis. Secrets, death, twists and turns, impending doom. All of it to be discovered after shes told her families history. Friendships bonded over generations. Bonded by unseen other worldly forces. I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. “I tucked my light brown hair behind my ear and placed on my warm, light blue winter jacket and headed for the woods. He was here, breathing down my neck, yet not here at all. I felt his presence consume me, yet I felt nothing. The cold air whipped into my face and I looking into the July snow. “Whitney,” the spirits whispered. He was here.” What happens when one era ends and another begins? Whitney woke up from her afternoon nap when her best friend Sarah called. Apparently, the world was ending, despite the obvious knowledge it wasn't, and Sarah wanted to party. Whitney was always the third wheel when it came to Sarah and her boyfriend Jack, and was really not up for it, but she threw on some clothes and met them at the beach. Whitney met them, and after hours of torture, ran away from them after almost drinking cow blood. On her run, she saved lives and saw the world beginning to change. She ends the escape at Courtney's house, a local teen, who was drunk with her best friends. Unfortunately, the Ouija board "joke" turned into a true spell that slowly caused the human race to disintegrate and the rise of supernatural beings to become a reality.
