Many generations have passed since the Dark Forest rose up against the Clans. The cats of Starclan that you knew and loved have faded away with the memories of cats. Even the four Clans surrounding the lake have fallen, consumed by greed and hatred. But there must always be cats around the lake, much like there must always be cats living in the mountains that the Tribe of Rushing Water called their home. Four new Clans have replaced the old ones: LilyClan sprang up from the descendants of ShadowClan. ReedClan was formed by RiverClan refugees. FrostClan, so named because of the harsh leafbare, arose from the scraps of WindClan. And finally, WillowClan, reconstructed by the last noble warriors of ThunderClan.
