Entering the packed gym floor, Alex started to wonder why she hadn't wanted to go. The usually smelly, dirty, and disgusting gym had been transformed into a wonderland. Suddenly she became aware of an intoxicating scent. It smelled of Christmas, with whiffs of pine and cranberry woven in. Alex looked around wondering what could create such an aroma, when the unwelcome voice of Claire interrupted her thoughts.
Startled, she looked up and saw the source of the fragrance standing next to her once best friend.
"Have you met my boyfriend yet?" Claire smugly said, pointing to the boy, "Isn't he just so cute!" she boasted, with a self-satisfied smile.
Lost for words, Alex didn't reply, Claire flounced away, her thirst for revenge apparently quenched for tonight, leaving Alex and the beautiful boy alone together.
Sneaking a glance at the boy she noticed his handsome face was staring back at her with a loving look in his eyes.
"Hey, I'm Roman, what's your name?" he whispered quietly.
"Alex," her voice resembling a high-pitched squeak more than the whisper that it was meant to be.
"Why are we whispering?"
"I have no idea," she laughed, successfully breaking the ice.
Chucking softly, the beautiful Roman led her out into the dance floor. Mesmerized by his emerald eyes, Alex didn't notice until it was too late.
"What are you doing!!?"
"Don't worry," he replied with a kind smile," We're just going to dance."

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I questioned trying to get out of Tommy's grip as he pulled me down the stairs. "We're leaving." He responded.What no who does he think he is?!?! When we got downstairs everyone was down there minus my brother I never see him anymore. Ash had a suitcase for me and was crying along with my mom and Summer. Tommy let me go. Into The Light
I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. I knew I would be safe as soon as I saw the little cottage at the end of the thick forest. I was so close to my freedom, so close to opening the door. Bam! My body instantly became cold. I squealed as the snow fell into my collar and down my back. I wiggled trying to get it to pass through my coat and drop out the bottom. I turned around with a glare on my face. My father stood facing me with a smug grin. Again, I attempted to stomp into the house when suddenly, my mother jumped out at me out of no where and pelted snowballs at my entire body, I noticed through the chaos my big sister was also helping her. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me. Cold, dark and empty. I still had hope that they were just hiding and that this was all just a bad dream, but after a moment or two of listening to the trees creaking, I sighed. I was alone.

"It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it.
