Book 1 of The Progressive Trilogy

Emma Beauxmont's entire life was focused around MMA. Her father, owning his own MMA gym, started her training from the moment she could walk. Being strong was something she prided herself in. Unfortunately for Emma, her definition of strong was altered drastically after surviving a sadistic man's version of fun that left her utterly destroyed.

The thick jagged scars that cover her body, not to mention the name Jax that was branded across her back, serve as a constant reminder of that horrible week, making it impossible to forget. Now living in a new town with her Aunt Karen and attending a new school, Emma must keep her demons locked away or risk succumbing to their torture.

Doing her best to keep herself protected against her demons, she tries to steer clear of the strange students that immediately stick to her like glue and follow Dr. Burns' orders. Between avoiding the strange townspeople and working out at The Cage, Emma can barely hold it together, then the pain starts, complicating her life even further.

Her body begins to go through random bouts of severe pain, and the only people that seem to know what's happening to her are the very people she's been trying to avoid.

"Weakness gives them pleasure, weakness gets you killed, emotions are weakness."
							                      ~Emma Claire Beauxmont

Emma and Isaac don't have a love story; they have a collision. They are the fix the other can't live without and the poison that guarantees ruin. Their bond isn't built on trust or stability-it's forged in the white-hot crucible of mutual obsession, a deeply sick euphoria they both crave. They share one absolute, terrifying certainty: no one will ever love them the way the other does, and no one else is worth the risk. To the outside world, they are a train wreck. To each other, they are the only truth. Their relationship exists on a razor's edge, perfectly calibrated to deliver maximum emotional devastation. Isaac feels truly alive only when he is delivering the final, crushing word, the definitive betrayal, or the sharpest pain. And Emma? She doesn't just endure the fallout-she craves the punishment, recognizing it as the purest, most terrifying form of devotion Isaac can offer. These volatile explosions-the cheating, the vicious attacks, the physical violence-are not mistakes. They are the essential, addictive rituals of their twisted language. But the cycle is complete only because of the quiet aftermath. What the world doesn't see are the brief, tender moments when the rage subsides-when Isaac offers genuine, necessary comfort, and Emma provides unwavering, soft support. They are kind to each other when they need to be, using these fragile respites not as signs of healing, but as the vital recharge before the next inevitable explosion. They are fully convinced that this chaotic loop, this beautiful, explosive, toxic devotion, is the only way they are meant to love. But this all-consuming need comes with a terrifying weight. When you are so obsessed with your partner that you are capable of killing someone who threatens your relationship to keep them, how long can the cycle spin before the need finally consumes them both for good?

FORBIDDEN ENEMIES WITH BENEFITS Dark, twisted, and heartbreakingly passionate, it's a forbidden love story about enemies with benefits, obsession, revenge, addiction, and a love that refuses to die, even when the world demands it. How can it be wrong if it feels so fucking right? ... And then his mouth was on mine. It wasn't soft. It wasn't careful. It was a collision of teeth, breath, desperation and fucking vodka. My back hit the mirror, the cracked glass rattling as his hands slid up my thighs, gripping, lifting me like I weighed nothing. "Lorenzo-" "Shut up," he rasped against my lips, kissing me harder. "Just - shut up." I clawed at his shoulders, nails digging into his skin through the thin fabric of his shirt. He groaned, the sound vibrating against my mouth, and pressed closer, his hips slotting between my legs as he pinned me to the mirror. Every inch of me screamed to shove him away. Every inch of me burned to pull him closer. His hands were everywhere, spreading over my waist, skimming up my sides, catching my jaw to tilt my head just so as his mouth devoured mine. The cracked mirror dug cold into my back, but the heat of him was a wildfire swallowing me whole. "You hate me, remember?" he muttered against my mouth, biting my bottom lip before sucking it back into a kiss. "I do," I gasped, nails scraping down his arms. "Good," he said darkly, kissing me again, harder this time. "Hate me harder." I did. I kissed him like it was a fight, like it was revenge, like it was the only way to breathe. ... fractured love trilogy #2 [can be read as a standalone]
