I lost all track of time as I lay there in agony. Why hadn’t anyone come looking for me?
I sensed a change in the burning, and then slowly the burning seemed to retract from my fingers and toes. The difference was so extremely small that I could hardly tell it was there. But sure enough the difference slowly became larger. Soon my hands and my feet were free, then my legs and arms. Every centimeter that the burning retracted the fire in my heart intensified. The burning kept retreating until it only remained in my heart. My heart stuttered once and a few moments later it stuttered once more, then it stopped. The pain subsided and I noticed that the pain I had before the burning was gone. I sat up and opened my eyes. Everything was clear as crystal!
I could see that my cell was a small room around seven feet by five feet with the table I was laying on smack dab in the middle. A sudden need to escape overcame me and I went straight to the door. I grasped the handle and yanked, hard. The door ripped out of the wall. Amazed with my new found strength I set the door down and put it back in place after I had stepped out.
How did this happen? Before I even finished the thought, I knew. James had turned me into a vampire. I tried to remember what had happened. I remember coming to Phoenix and I remembered finding the connection between James and the ballet studio…oh god! Bella! I rushed up the stairs to the main level. I zipped through the corridors looking for the door. Almost there when a flash of something caught my eye.
I backtracked and saw that it was a mirror. I look in to see my reflection. I gasped.

Tongue Tied ↬ Edward Cullen. de faevens

She arrived in Forks like a whisper, no words, and no sound, just the soft defiance in her eyes and the echo of storms in her silence. Marcie was born deaf and has never spoken a word, but she has always been painfully aware. Her world is built of glances, vibrations, the way people's mouths move when they think she's not watching. Edward Cullen has heard everything; thoughts, lies, secrets but never silence. When Marcie enters the school, her mind is quiet in a way that doesn't merely block him; it absorbs him. Her thoughts are a closed door he cannot open, and in that silence, he finds something he never knew he longed for: peace. She did not flinch from him. She did not fear the hollow behind his golden eyes. She only watched, and in watching, she understood. What began as a curiosity became a hunger, for closeness, for the touch of understanding, for the quiet she wore like a veil. And Edward, who had been alive for a hundred silent years, found himself aching not for her voice, but for the space she held in his silence. The way she made the stillness feel like music. But Marcie carried her own ghosts, unsaid, unheard, yet deeply known. And there is power in silence, especially when the world forgets to fear it. There is love in it, too. In a town always clouded by rain, two impossible souls find one another in the space where sound cannot reach .. And where silence, finally, is seen.

⚠️this book could be triggering for some readers talk of awareness and mental health⚠️ After Edward leaves Forks, Bella Swan vanishes into silence-emotionally and physically. No one knows what to do... until Charlie makes a visit to someone he hasn't seen in a while. Luna Everdeen was once Bella's childhood best friend. They used to ride bikes, chase fireflies, make mud pies with Jacob Black, and dream about anything that would take them far away from the rain. But when Bella came back from Phoenix, Luna thought she was going to get her best friend back, but Bella got wrapped up in the Cullen family, their friendship faded like fog on a warm morning. Now, with Bella spiraling after the Cullens' sudden departure, Luna is asked to check in on her. She doesn't expect much. After all, it's been a while. But what starts as quiet visits and awkward silences grows into something steady-something that just might save Bella from herself. Luna, who knows nothing of the supernatural world, becomes the human lifeline Bella never knew she needed. Alongside Jacob, Luna brings warmth, laughter, and painful honesty back into Bella's life. She reminds her of who she was before Edward, before heartbreak, before silence. But Luna carries her own pain too-unspoken and unseen. And as Bella begins to heal, she starts to notice that maybe Luna is the one slowly falling apart. (I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT OR TO ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES ITS JUST AN IDEA I HAD FOR THIS FANFIC.)

*******COMPLETE******* "Wow, you really are a little monster, aren't you?" His deep voice tilted the words into a thick Southern accent. A familiar feeling tugged over me while I turned towards him and looked up. Far up because he was so tall. Golden eyes met mine. My stomach dropped for only a second and then it suddenly felt like everything in the world would be okay. My eyes fell on his lips after his eyes almost immediately. He will kiss me a lot. The thought came without warning, but it spoke the truth the same way all of my feelings did. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jasper Hale has drifted for a long time, so long that he is close to leaving the Cullen clan. A powerful empath, the forced path of vampirism has nearly destroyed him. And no matter how hard he fights it, it always draws him back. But then he meets Mary Alice and Bella, and suddenly his struggle takes on new meaning. Mary Alice Swan gets feelings that often come true. When she moves to Forks with her sister Bella, those feelings begin to escalate into something ... more. As if that weren't enough, she thinks that the infamous Cullens might be even weirder than either Bella or herself. Which is saying a lot. Heavy plot twisting, Jalice heavy plot, shameless Bella/Leah ship! Disclaimer: Universe, some plot details that are used, and characters belong solely to Stephenie Meyer!
