He keeps secrets with Annabelle and is abusive but she can't do anything. After attempting suicide, she is deep in a hole ; will it ever end?

For 10 years Elena Hart has lived in the basement. After getting kidnapped and watching her family get murdered, people think she is dead. But she isn't, though she wishes she is. At the age of 18 she finally has the chance to leave. So she runs, and runs, and runs. And she comes across a police car. We wrote this in like 8th grade and realized how much we sucked at writing... xD We've improved! :D We are upperclassmen now! So we've decided to keep this lame terrible story on here but make a new one! Its WAY better than this. Has some same characters. :) It's called "Truth is I hate you" Go read it not this! THERE IS ALWAYS A PRICE TO PAY
"Nowhere is safe, you know?" Foster homes, orphanages, replacement homes, you name it, Georgia Monroe has never fit in anywhere. From a young age, she has only known that running away and constantly losing track of those that are supposed to care for her, is a way of survival. A way to escape. She hardly knows her real name, as people are constantly trying to change it, whilst all she wants to do is fit in. It's like she knows that she has a real family out there, no matter how many times people try to tell her that they either didn't want her, before explaining all the reasons why no one would want her, or that they all died, and she will never know them. For years, Georgia has tried to decipher the difference between words thrown at her in rage and due to alcohol, but as the years go by, it is harder to see the difference. It's harder not to believe the words. The words of her family not wanting her and that they may be dead, probably as a result of her sake. All she wants, is a pair of safe arms that will take the stress of her shoulders, for a little while. Only, she doesn't know how great of a deal she is asking of those that are her family. She will never understand the depth of the work that her real family has been intertwined, and maybe not living with them, has kept her alive. Has made her a stronger person than she would have been if she had grown up with them from the beginning. Georgia, though it may feel like to her, isn't the only one that has suffered. Though her brothers home may be idealistic and fit for a king and queen in her eyes, it is far from it. Behind all the luxury and money spilling from the walls, it hadn't been like that their entire lives. "We've just moved here." I said. The woman looked sadly at me. "I hope you change your mind." she replied and walked away. *** Adam and his children have moved into an old abandoned mansion. The reason why they moved, was because he wanted to give himself and his children a fresh start. The murder of his little sister Annabelle and the divorce of his ex-husband took a heavy toll on him. Adam started drinking and doing drugs to cope with the pain. He named his youngest daughter after his sister to honor her. A woman passed him with her dog. She ask him to move out, because it's haunted. A horrible event took placed in that house many years ago. Adam doesn't believe her. Pretty soon, Max starts hearing child laughter and a lullaby at night. She tells it to her dad, but Adam says she has to stop watching horror movies. But what they don't know is that the woman was right. The house is possessed by evil spirits. The story threatens to be retold if they're not careful. But when Adam finds out a dark secret, it's already too late.Complete
