Prologue ♕
In England, the land is split into the North and the South. The North is run by its own King and Queen while the South is led by a separate King and Queen.
Both of the Kings from either side, wish to one day unite their kingdoms and lands into one big nation and the only way to do that is by marriage.
Prince Ian is the oldest son of Vincent, the King from the South. Unlike his brother, Ian is not as welcoming. He finds it hard to let anyone in since his mother's death and he swore never to love again.
Zara Pierce on the other hand is the complete opposite. She enjoys making people happy and loves just about anyone who had kindness in their heart. She is the second daughter of King Daniel of the North.
Once Zara heard about her father's plan to join the two kingdoms together, she makes him promise to leave her out of it. She refuses to be wed to someone she doesn't love and she wants it to be special. That just might be the only thing her and Ian have in common.
When Ian arrives at the Pierce manor, he's going to regret ever stepping out the carriage because he will soon meet the girl that will change his mind about everything. When he first crosses Zara's path, he thinks her nothing more than a Princess. But he was wrong. She was growing on him, but he wouldn't let it show and he continues to push her away.
His plan is ruined when their fathers decide it is best for them to be the King and Queen of the new nation they plan on making and arranging them to be wed.
(Sorry if it's bad, I was never good at writing these things, but the story will be better, promise.)

After a bad war, the kingdom of riverflood was trying hard to scramble to their feet. To only add to their troubles, word had been going around that a prisoner of war had gotten lose. No matter what, she couldn't get away. She was captured again and brought to the Kings heed. Instead of killing her outright, he bought her life and turned her into a maid. She gets along great with all the other workers. Well almost all of them. Because she wasn't from their kingdom, most avoided talking to her. While she loved staying at the castle, she didn't like one part. Her feelings. While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever? Two brothers learn who each other really are while on an adventure. Who will be king? Can they stop a civil war? Will they find and accept their mates? Two twin sisters drifted apart because of misunderstandings and screaming by there on family no less. Zan Cui the one with a dragon fate was seen as bad luck because she is a girl. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.
