You know what sucks? Finding out right before you're eighteenth birthday that you're not anything you thought you were, everyone's out for your blood, you're expected to make literal life or death choices, and the one person who's meant anything to you in your life has been lying to you since you were a child.
Adalina Aidin just wanted to be a normal demon. She had normal goals as demon. Make it to S-class. Live life. Be a carefree, bond-free, woman. Instead she's hiding in sewers with the one person who betrayed her, and her dead parents are visiting her in her dreams. Can life get anymore twisted for her? Dearest Addie doesn't think so now, but if she doesn't accept that reality can get turned upside down, and make haste with that, then she's either going to end up dead, or not at all prepared for what she's about to have to do.
