I'm Lisa Tate my family owns the only freak show in this huge city. Not don't go talking bad about us, we aren't like the shows you hear about that keep our workers in cages. Our workers are our family. But all good things turn bad right?
Well, that's what happens when an opposing freak show moves next door. They are cruel and believe their workers don't deserve rights! Well, I'll show them, you just watch!
This is a original play, me and a friend wrote for our school drama club to perform. It seemed to be a bit hit, so we figured to put it up on here for y'alls. Hope you enjoy.

Wolves Den
Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. And then one night while heading to go get her friend she's taken and thrown into a world she didn't know existed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Remi?" Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. Boarding School
When Sammy's parents got divorced, she didn't mind at all, because she knew that they weren't meant to be together, and if they weren't happy with each other, then they don't have to stay together for her sake. She lived with her mom, and her dad visited regularly, when he could get away from his work; running a top class private boarding school. Her mom turns on her when her favourite person leaves town, and her life slowly starts losing meaning, and she can't think of anything that makes her happy, except being with her best friend. Then, she goes too... With nothing making her happy in her small town, she makes a life-changing decision, that she thinks will benifit her, and make her life all that she wanted. Or, it could go very wrong and be worse than staying where she is. "Dad, I want to live with you" I told him over the phone, in tears. Nothing new there. "Samantha, you know I'd love you too, but there isn't any school around this area, remember? My school is in the countryside, with nothing within a short driving dinstance" he all but rejected me. "Then can I move schools? Attend your boarding school?" He was silent, then let out a long sigh of defeat. "I'll enroll you now. Pack your things, I'll send a car in the morning for you." That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out. I hurried in doing it, and stored them at the back of my closet so she couldn't see them when she checked up on me. You're doing it, Sammy. a girl was born into a dystopian world where two societies were separated. those who are immune were placed into mazes whilst those who are gifted with knowledge were known as "the enemies" and placed in labs across the nation. unluckily for her she was placed with the enemies, known as WCKD. her abnormal intelligence made her stand out from the crowd, especially with no family members. she had no intention whatsoever on the change of the course of her life. she felt betrayed by the people she thought who would protect her and care for her. not everyone is who they seem, right? - (written in no caps, sorry for any editing mistakes - unedited as well) - gally groaned, folding his arms like a child. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. this story was written by three middle school girls. these girls are not friends any more. there is tea on that but its none of your business. the story follows the three main characters and their group through the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. this story is being rewritten (January 2020) by two of the original writers. the other one doesn't do this anymore and this story is great leverage and black mail material against her. this story was written at least 2 years previously in 2018, possibly 2017. BEWARE, this is the very bad version I wrote when I was 15 years old but I did rewrite it now that I'm 20 and I promise that one makes much more sense! New version is called At All Costs you can find it on my profile! What I see in the mirror is nothing special. I see a girl with dark brown almost black hair, with brown eyes that have been dull for years. I sigh and raise my shirt so I can see the bruises from my opponent last night. If you haven't guessed yet I am a street fighter and a good one at that. I fight in a place called The Underground where my manager Smith sets up my fights. Although I'm only 5'3, I still only fight with men. For me that means more money that I win. Did I mention I am undefeated at The Underground? No, well I am and almost everyone places their bets on me. Or should I say placed because me and my family are moving across the country to New York which means I have to find a new place to fight and make money. That was really my only problem with moving because I don't have any friends here, it's not like people haven't tried I just don't like getting to close to people. Although my family still doesn't know about my street fighting, we still are very close after what happened with my father. They left but I know they will come back and finish what they started and that's why I started street fighting. I need to be able to protect me and my family when they do come back.
