What if the attack on New York wasn't Loki's fault? What if it was someone else's? Say THANOS! What if Loki was really under his mind control the whole time!
After the hulk smashing Loki was back in control of his own body. But instead of the ending we all know what if Stark didn't get rid of the missile the way we think, he had to redirect it somewhere else because the soul gem was missing from Loki's sceptre. Instead of making it to the top of Stark towers Natasha Romanoff or Black Widow crashed into a spiked jagged fence where she was empaled through her lower abdomen and no one was there to help her as she bled out. By now the Chitauri cannot be defeated. They have basically levelled Manhattan. It lay in ruins along with the avengers who have managed to escape back to the base, with out Black Widow. Shes hurt, abandoned, left to die, when Loki stumbles across her. He is the only one who can hear her cries for help... But will he? Or will he to abandon her to?
