This is a story that follows the main character, a boy named Jared who starts off as a new inkling joining the neighborhood sport in his world known as Splatoon. He just turned 14 recently and is a bit of a newb so he doesn't know at all how to play the game or move really fast but thankfully he meets many new friends and rivals to help guide and motivate him into doing better. Along his battles he discovers inkopolis's enemies, the Octarians and gets involved in saving inkopolis from them. Wether or not he succeeds in defeating them is for you to find out. Well, would you look at that? The Great Zapfish has disappeared once more. At this point, that's not a shocker in the city of Inkopolis. What is shocking is that multiple idols have suddenly vanished alongside the Great Zapfish. Even the Judds have gone missing! With so many big players vanishing from the scene, Inkopolis has devolved into a crime-riddled city. The streets are unsafe, and gangs rule almost every part of town. With Inkopolis in such a state, the people will find their heroes in the form of two octoling brothers, Sal and Cal. Both have no redeeming qualities, and neither have achieved an admirable feat. (Miles here real quick! Hi! This is my (kinda poor?) retelling of the Splatoon series with my OCs! I haven't written in a while so I do apologise for any possible inconsistencies, also this is my first actual published book and whatnot! Agent 4 has to be one of the hardest roles to fill in the world. On a peaceful day in inkopolis a young inkling named Tess finds a girl named Marie and gains her interest. Now she fills the role of agent 4 and whilst at first it seems like an easy weekly thing for Tess to do to save the electricity in inkopolis, there is a deeper story then there seems to be and with Tess' friends being put in danger there are large secrets to hide and more backstory to be told then expected. With the octarians making Their advance on inkopolis it's all up to one teenage girl to save inkopolis for good with the help of Marie but sometimes it can be hard to balance two things together and as Tess gets more involved in her missions, her friends become for suspicious of her. It's all up to her to fill her role and find out Marie's past before inkopolis drowns in octarian forces. A/N: as I'm writing this I'm correcting some of my older chapters.
